Tayna Batteries - great service - good price

I bought 2 boat batteries and a car battery from them last week.
All 3 arrived needing charging. The car battery was down to 12.45V.
Suggest you check yours and charge ASAP.

Ok, thanks for that.

Edit: Hell, mine are only 6.3v - are they f*cked?

Funny, I noticed exactly the same thing with my T-105s when they arrived (all in range 6.31 - 6.37V). ;)

Tayna were great, contacted me to say that the 12V Optima RedTop I'd ordered was out of stock so would be delayed for a day. I was offered one with central terminals and it arrived the next day along with the T-105s. I'd ordered the T-105s about 10mins. after the Redtop as that entitled me to a discount (repeat order).

I decoded the numbers on the T-105s and they indicated that they'd only been manufactured 2-3 months earlier in USA and shipped dry. Tayna would almost certainly have just put acid in immediately before sending them to me. So good communication, price, delivery and new stock. I'd certainly use them again.

OK, I'll bite, what, pray tell was the excellent price?
I said relative to UK ;) - Tayna were the cheapest I could find on t'internet (c£107 inc VAT)- as per Sailorman's post £10 cheaper per battery. Did a deal on the carriage cost.

So - excellent because they were the cheapest company I could find in UK. Perhaps I should have said 'good price' or 'relatively good price' or . . .

If you want them cheap, buy in the US of A I guess - but they are still a whopping $176.90 from Budget Marine in St Maarten in the Caribbean.

And only 10% dearer than the supplier named by the OP!!

I'm looking at buying some Trojan 105s. Unless things have changed in the past week or so, Battery Megastores price includes delivery, Tanya's doesn't. Tanya state about £10 for delivery. I asked if this was per delivery, but it's per battery.... So they are about the same - but battery megastore make it easier to know the final price.

Mine were also cheaper via Tayna as I got a small discount. Not much, but it did make them cheaper than Battery Mega Store and as I've said, communication, and delivery were excellent. Batteries also had a pretty recent manufacturing date.

It sounds as if Sailorman might have used batterymegastore and can confirm that they have equally good service. OP and others have just been commenting on the service they'd experienced.
