Hi there,

Having a consistant leak of paraffin in my taylors stove I have brought it home this weekendplanning to change all of the internal pipework and treat it to burner recondition at the some time. The hitch is that I managed to leave the hand book on the boat and so dnow don't know what part numbers to order. Is there any kind sole out there who could direct me to the hand book on line or scan in the parts of theirs relevant of the 029. I'd be really grateful

Kind regards

Jamie

There is a parts list and a few FAQs but no manual on Blakes Lavac Taylors website

I packed up the burners and sent them back to taylors. Came back about 2 weeks later good as new. " burners serviced + spares kit, new flexible pipe and fuel filter plus lables for controls all for about £180. If you take off the S/S bar the burners sit on they will do the complete assembly and pressure test it ready to fit back into the stove. The cost of them servicing a burner was £5 more than the cost of a service kit.

picture is a bit grainy and hard to read but try this: Base Camp lampsand stoves

not a manual but will give you parts numbers. they seem a good place for spares actually, not that you should need them much!

they are really easy to sort out yourself once you get the hang of a few peculiarities, I'd suggest it'd be less hassle to DIY than post it off, and I suspect a propietory (can't spell) service kit of over priced if its 55 squid a pop, but maybe I misinturpereted the previous posts. think a new burner is about £80 to put it in perspective.

I've just ordered a burner & pipe kit. The burner part number is CTK1035P. This is on their website, but I had to ring up for the pipe kit number; it's CTK 2390. Brace yourself though - a burner is £90+ and the pipe kit £20+, and should you decide to get a spares kit to overhaul your old burner as a spare - part number CTK1062 - that's £50!
