Hello All. Sorry to launch into the forum begging for advice.
It's just that I've never got to grips with sealing my Talyors 029 stove burners. When you're screwing the burner in, how do you get it tight enough to seal, but without stripping the thread, AND with the control spindle lined up properly?
Maybe it's just me, but I've been scared of stripping the thread, usually leaving a slight weep, so you have to always remember to switch off at the tank. Then the weeping gets worse over time…
I think I've heard of experimenting with different thickness washers. Any other advice would be gratefully received.
