Tay Sailing Activity

I am visiting Dundee every two weeks but seldom see sails on the Tay (admitidly its winter). I tried to visit Royal Tay clubhouse one saturday afternoon recently but it seemed to be closed. Can someone infrom me about sailing activity on the Tay, and provide a local contact?

There was a sailing club at Broughty Ferry when I went to school there in the early 50's! Sorry, no more up to date info.

Yes, things are going on at Tayport. They've installed pontoons across the harbour and are very welcoming to visitors like me.

Wormit SC have been ok to me in previous years visits.

Inchyra SC. Welcoming to visitors. (I think membership restricted to civil servants (prison officers)) worth a check though.

Perth SC. Dunno much about them except they are probably exclusively dinghy folk.
