Taxi: Cherbourg to St Vaast

Has anyone ever taken a taxi from the ferry port in Cherbourg to St Vaast? Is it hideously expensive?
Am travelling on a Sunday when the bus doesn't run.

We did that last September and my recollection is that it was in the ~£45 region.

Four of us took a taxi to Barfleur to have dinner several years ago. I can't remember the price but it was not unreasonable, especially split betwen two couples.

I can't remember the return journey at all, so it must have been a good dinner.

There is also a bus service, run by Société des Transports de Normandie. Office de Tourisme should be able to advise.

take a bus for a few euro's. I've done it.
