Meet report.

The sail to Brightlingsea was very enjoyable. Nice beam reach with the tide under us.
The meal was very enjoyable.
The trip home was.....
Interesting.
Jolly cold.
Horizontal snow.
Near hypothermia.

I look to Morgana to provide more details on his recommended goggles for these conditions.

Sirenia is now on the mooring that Sailorman has been kind enough to allow us to use for a 2nd year.

I would Like to thank Peter for organising the evening and for his hospitality after the meal.
I would also like to thank Simon_SPGE and family for their hospitality before the event.
Simon's boat (Marmalade) is very nice.
It was good to meet Swedish Lass and his lady as well.

There should be some photos of the evening some where as there was a flurry of camera phones at one stage

Something like this should do it....

Not something I had thought about, but yes, we had intended carrying our snorkel gear, just hadn't thought about keeping the mask handy. Good tip, ta muchly.

They have been getting daytime and night time temperatures mixed up quite regularly recently.....but usually quite accurate...

so with metcheck and windguru WE should be able to agree on the forecast /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Peter,

in Photobucket there is a box which says IMG code. Just copy whats in the box (actually if you hold your cursor over it, it copies it automatically, and then says 'Copied'.
The you just paste that into the post or thread.
Simple really.
