Howya Froggy, You didn't "accidentally" run over one of them then, like that other chap on here awhile back /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
You should have came up river, Banagher and Shannonbridge were PWC and speedboat free zones at the weekend.
By the way they are all wondering where you are on CPB, someone even started a thread enquiring as to your whereabouts. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
At one stage when leaving Killaloe, just at the entrance to Lough Derg, SEVEN of them appeard aft like hornets and raced past, hence the pics. We were only out for one night, monday, so we could avoid the traffic both on the water and on the roads over the bank holiday - it worked, had a fab evening Monday and yesterday on an empty Lough. Needless to say we anchored out over night.
In relation to PWCs there has definitely been a marked explosion of them since last year. No we didn't hit any because I forgot to pack the guided missiles when I was loading up the car /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif Kidd'n.

The relentless noise I suspect will see nationwide bans over the next 18 months or so - it's a domino effect, and as they are banned from more and more of the Irish coast, they have drifted inland, but now local authorities and co-co's have started to roll out plans for outright bans, I suspect this is heading in one direction. They suffer 50% depreciation on year 1 too. Once the bans roll out they could be worthless.
