Targa 52 Garage

Chaps , I've read on here that you can get a Williams 325 in a Targa 37 with some air let out , does anybody out there know if the T52 has a slightly bigger garage or did Fairline use the same mouldings?

Do you mean Targa 47? Targa 37 doesn't have a garage (or if it does, I never noticed it... )

I would be staggered ! 285 or mini Jet maybe

I had a t40 and that took a 2.7m rib. The 37 must be smaller

Friend has a 47 and a 285 fits with air out

52 don’t know.

Just seen jimmy post. If a t47 a 325 won’t fit. Mates 285 is tricky and you need a replacement track to drag it in and out

Well, here's your answer about the T47. It would be surprising if the T52 had a smaller garage, but you'd need to hear from a fellow T52 owner to get the definitive answer (or borrow a 325 and try it for yourself...).

We have a t52 a Williams 285 fits without having to deflate the tubes but the launching system leaves a lot to be desired

We had a 285 in our T52, were told by williams that a 325 will fit with front tubes deflated,check with williams , 325 is apparently a lot better boat than the 285.

Interesting point about the launching , given the weight of the 325 it must be a proper pain to ease out , thanks for all the replies , the Avon 320 which it was designed for are a lot cheaper but not sure about reliability .

More unreliable than a Williams ? That is serious The launching isn’t that bad but getting it back in is a pain you have to physically lift the bow as you operate the winch with your spare hand
