Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows where the solenoid valve is located on the forward heads of a 2009 Fairline Targa 47? Our fresh water fill flow to the toilet is temperamental starting off OK when we’re first on the boat, but then after a few flushes the flow reduces to nothing with the water pump not even getting activated. Water flow is fine in the aft heads toilet and all other water outlets so the pump is fine. Looking at the jabsco website, looks like the value may need cleaning or even replacing as it may not be deploying via the solenoid unit correctly?

Any help would be much appreciated before I starting taking the boat apart!!

Has anyone even had any experience of reduced fresh water flow on the Jabsco electric toilets Fairline fitted circa 2005-10?

Saw you asked on the Fairline forum. I assume given the guys who replied made it they were right! Assume there were not ?

Look up the wc manual on line and see generally where the valves are. Mine are just located in the feed line with wires to the controller

To be honest the views back on the Fairline FB page were a bit non committal as to the location of the values, so was just looking to pin it down more specifically before I start taking the boat apart, also know if anyone else has experienced a similar situation?
I will read the manuals again and start the process of elimination when I’m down on the boat this weekend.

Cheers Phil

Remember that the location of things did change from build to build. Not radically, but over time there were changes, the model of WC for example will change etc.

If you remove the panels and follow the pipes the solenoid wont be far away.

if you have carbon filters I suspect that some may have escaped and found its way into the solonoid filter ( assuming it has one) and it compacts with flow.
