Targa 44 roof components

Hi All,

Looking for some info for a friend with a Targa 44. Roof does not work and it seems to be the motor/cable drive. (have not seen it myself). Local ex fairline dealer not being helpfull. Does anyone know who manufactures the system or a source for spare parts?

I would contact nick barke at boats.co.uk for both advise and possibly parts - they have lots of bit in stock

They are no longer dealers so if they don't have it you would prob need to go elsewhere.

I know the t50 one has a reputation of being difficult to work on and goes wrong when the boat cleaners sit or stand on it ( there are no placards saying not to apparently )

Fairline parts dept are up and running these days and are able to source OEM parts. Call Bates Wharf and they will be able to help.

I think its Makefast -- not the same company who designed and manufactured the Targa 50 roof.

Very likely Webasto, they make the majority of boat sun roofs I believe.

Thanks all for your help. Fairline informed us their new dealer was just around the corner and will supply and install the part.
