targa 37 with kad44 what prop size?

I have recently bought a targa 37 with kad44s i took her for a shake down cruise and only managed 30knots and 3400/3500rpm the boat has just been serviced and been on the vodia scan tool,runs fine, has a clean bottom and had the legs serviced she came with a 3 month warranty on the engines and drives and has had new props fitted B5 as advised by fairline,
A mate of mine has the same boat and engines but runs C4 props and reaches max revs 3900 and 35/37 knots, the engineers tried the C4 props on my boat and managed 3700rpm + and a couple of extra knots without trimming the boat,
I would be interested to know what props and rpm/speed other targa 37 kad44 owners are achieving.

We have a Targa 37 KAD44 and last year I fitted B5 props. It will do 3800 exact!

Did you have a look at the valve clearance? It should be checked every 200 hours but our boat had done 800 hours and it was never done! It should be 0.4mm but it was 1.2!! Maybe that could give you some extra rpm...
