Visited the Victoria and the Anchor as I was sailing in the Scottish Series.
Victoria: better than expected, good quality ingredients(except the bread; bought-in frozen chuck in the oven stuff) but the preparation was erratic(scallops were overcooked). If they got the cooking right it would be worth the asking price. Service okay. 6/10
Anchor: great value for the money, good quality ingredients well cooked(fantastic freshly baked spicy bread!), great service, easily the best lavvys I've ever encountered on the west coast. 9/10
