Looks as if it is out if action- partially dismantled and used for workboats for the civils in rebuilding the ferry port. (Not that you would want to be there in current SEly).

Me - I'm tucked into Poll Scrot/ Loch Stocknish with a couple of prawn and scallop boats. Perfect shelter.

Yes. The pontoon was fully detached and moored mid harbour when I passed in July. Moved for Calmac harbour works and dredging. At that time they were implying reinstatement soon, but apparently the "anchors didn't set" so changed plan.and won't be in operation this season, according to the person who answered the phone to me a few days back.
Scalpay pontoon was very busy when we passed, as a result. Like you we were on the hook overnight.
