I have a problem with this fitting on my fresh water tank (Bavaria 40, 2001). Its leaking where the fitting connects to what I presume is a spigot screwed into the tanl, and I can't work out how to take it off to reseal it. It doesn't unscrew, the ring just goes round. To make matters worse there is very little clearance between the fitting and the bow thruster tunnel immediately behind the tank.

Suggestions please, or I'll have to resort to silicone and duct tape!

looks like a push fitting, you would need to get a small flatblade or something and push the locking collet ring towards the main fitting body, then pull the fitting off.

have a look at this video

My guess is that the outer ring pushes up to release the pipe

The tank fitting looks as though it might release in the same way but will need something to lever the ring back

Not all fittings can be removed by a pressing down on a ring.
Some need a tool that slides along the pipe to press inside the fitting.
I would carefully chop it off and replace
