Ive recently (in the last two years) purchased a TANAC class tug boat these were built in canada for the war effort. I have some history off my boat but specificly chaseing info on the class as a whole designe criteria designer drawings etc.

I tried to PM you but you are not receiving private messages. Tanac Tugs were in use with the British Army until the early to mid sixties. They were based at Marchwood on Southampton Water and were manned by soldiers of the Royal Engineers.

Perhaps an enquiry to the Regimental Museum at Chatham would help you with yhour research.
