Mentioned to crew the lifejacket threads and they were having a bit of a discussion about it this evening.

Cook/Stewardess has just asked me to ask those proposing fulltime wearing of lifejackets how their womanfolk manage their tan lines when doing so. Also can bikini items be dispensed with and is the need for shaving/waxing reduced /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif.

Don't jump on me, I am only passing the question on.

As long as she stays below decks she has no worries - I don't think even I would insist on lifejackets being worn in the galley - unless the vessel is actually sinking!

Yes but Elf and Safety decrees that she must wear a fully protective pinny whilst cooking... One might find a whole new market here for pinnys (pinnies?) with built in harness, automatic inflation and crutch straps.
