As the next stage in the process, following some advice, we were going to use Wynn's Radflush in the freshwater cooling system.

However, we've just read in the manual that the system contain aluminium and no chemicals should be used.

Any thoughts, team?

Thanks.

Yes
Initial thought is to find out why? not bung a 'remedy' in the eng!

Engine descaling

Plan B,
Try the stuff from Rydlyme Marine or Volvo do a similar and suprisingly reasonably priced equivalant.
For the volume you'll need I'd have thought the Wynn's stuff would work out more expensive.

When I eventually fixed my overheating 71b's, I used this flush on both engines....made everything nice and shiney again and dropped the WOT temps by a couple of °'s!
