Hello all.
Was down at the boat changing fuel filters before an upcoming trip.
I noticed that the engineer that was working on her recently did not put back on the exhaust valve smoke limiter solenoid assembly on either engine when he took the elbows off for cleaning.
Is the tab that moves the butterfly valve open in the up position or the down position?
Also, the flap on the starboard engine does not move all the way up. Could this be the cause of this engine being a couple of hundred rpm short at WOT?
The images show the sb and port flaps from above. There is quite a difference.
All thoughts welcome.
