Greetings to all. This is my first message on the forum.
Dear Lloyd, I found your message about the broken camshaft of the tamd22. I have had the same fault and am still in the process of repair.
Your posts on this forum have helped me a lot, but I still don't know which camshaft to order. Volvo part number 3581133 is discontinued and I can't find it anywhere. Have you been able to find it?
I can only find Perkins camshafts, but I'm not sure of the correct part number. On the broken camshaft I have the same part number as you: L141DF0A, and it also has a number 123 and 46. I think these indications might be useful.
Have you been able to get the revs back up on your engine to 4,200? I have checked the website where you have ordered your camshaft and there are two references almost the same, PK 07930N and PK 07930. One seems to have a few millimetres higher. The reference PK.07930 is for the Perkins Prima 500 2.0d/TD engine and according to the information I got it had 4200 rpm. It could be the correct camshaft.
