Was coming home with the radio and it mentioned the tall ships regatta on the Thames for 2014. So I searched for it on the 'interweb' and thought you maybe interested ... So here is the link

I did the Liason Officer bit at Greenock a couple of years ago. It was very interesting and worthwhile; and after the event, I was invited to embark with my ship for the "Cruise in Company" for Lerwick (I disembarked at Stornoway).

I'm not sure if either Falmouth or Greenwich are still looking for volunteers, but it's a very interesting opportunity if they are.
