Tall ships at Ipswich

Saw them today at Ipswich Haven.

Fantastic sight !

We saw them proceeding up river past the Club over lunchtime on Thursday.

Lovely sight, although one had a purple painted hull which looked a bit out of place

All except one were 2 masted which is at variance with the "eye witness" report in the Harwich & Manningtree Standard

We were told they they had raced over from Holland, but that could well be incorrect.

They all sailed past the office in Vlaardingen (nr Rotterdam) on Wednesday. Unfortunately I was in Hamburg!
