30 hp, only a half ton, only 6 litres, (unlike the poppet 25/30, which was 14472 cc). Every hour it would misfire, I would dive below, switch to petrol, open the primer taps on top and squirt flames for a few seconds to clean the chamber, then back to (!) normal.

I've often hankered after something like that.

This boat was on ebay sometime ago, I nearly bought it for the engine.
