Taking the strain

Here's me at anchor now in the azure waters of the Côte d'Azur.
I use a square hook which grabs the chain well, and each end of the rope has a dogbone and then tied off on both cleats. A couple of meters of chain is then released.
Works fine for me though my vessel is not nearly as magnificent and famous as Play d'eau.
I have also been following the anchor chain thread!

While nobody at anchor off the Cap Nègre on this beautiful and warm November day has a right to be jealous, a big Flemming is the stuff of dreams. And your articles and blog are well known
