here am I living on the Queensland coast, been here two years done a bit of racing sailing (not impressed).
Bit of back ground, have been a commercial fisherman in the UK for 20 years, emigrated 2 years ago tou Australia. Have held down a job and have a nice house etc but havethis yearning to liveaboard a yacht and sail around australia.................looking for inspirational stories and reasons to make the move.
Really greatful for any info or stories......already made mind up just looking for inspiration

Have a read of the autobography of Sir Peter Blake. Just read it; highly inspirational and has the advantage of locality for you. Okay so fundamentally Sir Peter was a racer but in the latter part of his (cut short) life he turned to cruising.

Have a read of some of these blogs (http://www.sailblogs.com/) Many of these are liveaboards or circumnavigating, I find them very inspiring!
My partner lives full time on his Westerley Pageant and I am there part time. Can be very hard but its worth it!
