Taking Lines

Anybody know of a book giving instructions on how to take off a boat's lines?

This may not be much of a help, but if you have access to a bound set of the Yachting Monthly for the 1930's (eg, CA library) there is a brilliant two page article by William Maxwell Blake (designer of the Deben four tonner, Mirelle, etc) which covers it very clearly.
