Taking dog to Southern Ireland

As mentioned in previous post,thinking of Southern Ireland for holiday next year,cruising River Shannon.
Have elderly springer spaniel,so if he is still with us !!! does he need any jabs,paperwork etc to either be able to take him or bring him back.

Agreed. We have taken loads of dogs to Ireland. No jabs, passport, quarantine, microchips. Just take it. Need to watch him with some of the locals though - ours used to lose small body parts like ears in streetfights

No Problems at all in bringing your best mate into Ireland as long as he has not been on the continent (risk of rabies) other than that no restrictions.
