Tacktick transducer to wireless interface connectivity

I had wondered whether the transducer cold be connected to the NMEA contacts in the wireless transducer.

The GPS is connected directly and presumably the transducer is sending the relevant NMEA message.

Can I connect a Tacktick depth, speed, temp triducer directly (by wire) to the Tacktick wireless interface?

I have a Tacktick nmea wireless interface (if this is what you are referring to) which I use to connect the wind transducer to the rest of my system. GPS data is fed into the input from a Garmin GPS sensor and then this, with the wind data fed to a Shipmodul USB2 multiplexer wkere depth and heading (via Seatalk) are added for forwarding to a laptop.

I had hoped to avoid the need for the Shipmodul multiplexer and use the Tacktick as a multiplexer but it wouldn't pass the depth sentence (DBT).

Tacktick weren't much help, simply saying the input was really for gps data for true wind direction and speed calculation. I pointed out that this was not mentioned in the instructions but got no reply.

I would check with Raymarine as to exactly which sentences the wifi interface will pass in case it ignores depth data.
