Table hinges

Any ideas as to where I can purchase spring loaded table hinges? These are the ones where the flap drops down and locks under the table and locks automatically when raised. Brooms use them and Timage supply them, but the price is around £54 each and I will need four. Cheers Geoff

If they are the ones I think you mean, Screwfix do a similar type which they call a 'folding bracket', part no's 34190-82 (300mm) @ £9.99 & 95375-82(400mm) @ £12.99. But they are only zinc plated, with 3 adjustable positions? and push button mechanism for locking in place. 200kg loading.
Not quite like the pukka stainless steel ones but may help you. I've never used them so not sure what they are like, but you can always return them for a refund if unsuitable. Now sold in packs of two I notice.
I bought two of the ss ones in Sweden several years ago very cheaply, before they appeared in the UK - made in Italy I believe. Incidently £54 ea sounds expensive - I'm sure I've seen the SS ones for about half this price.
