I stick very basic turbo diesel oil into my pair of Perkins. The advice from LSUK was pretty much "use this stuff, old tech engines like old tech oils". Basic CD turbo diesel, nice and cheap.

Yes the stuff we use is basic,38 quid for 25ltrs.
