did anyone else have a sleepless night at Suffolk yacht harbor last night ( Friday)? At first I thought it was the disco boat Which I don’t mind. It comes, it goes. Last night from I think around 11, at least that’s when it woke me till about 5 this morning there was an infernal din.I hesitate to call it music. drum and base crap.It was so loud you could not hear yourself think never mind sleep. I thought it was a boat but there was no evidence when we left our mooring at 7.30 this morning so maybe not.

Yes…. We were on G pontoon (as a one night visitor) - the din was some way away from us but we could hear it. It stopped at about 6:30am and then restarted at about 7:40. Unbelievable.

Illegal rave?

Some years back we had one in the semi-derelict former slaughterhouse two fields away from our place. Hell of a racket, Polis were in attendance but decided they hadn't the numbers to cope with the riot if they tried to stop it so they let it run

They did nick the organisers and confiscate all the gear the next morning though

Heard it, thought it stopped around 0100. Perhaps the whisky numbed my senses after that.
