Sydney/Hobart??

No it's been like that for a while. It's not open yet. Lost a bit in translation I think.
I'll have to give it a miss y. My wife would kill me and we are away for a few days next weekend anyway. I rest and recover before the next VOR leg. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I've just set a complicated series of delayed commands, which I hope will see me somewhere off Hobart in time to take charge and sail in!
Guess we'll find out if it works!

No chance - just glad we've got leg3 done in time for Christmas .... SWMBO makes allowances - but I think she'd draw the line on boxing day!

ybw_trev is doing flippin well, 2nd place overall, with only about 25 miles to go!

You've jinxed him Brendan. He's run aground! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Time to concentrate on your own boat. It looks like you will get your best ever result. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I started about 12 hours late. I don't have time for this race (In other words I'll be murdered if I am caught on SOL!).

He didn't run aground, just tacked at last minute, and the tracks take a while to update. Commands are taking an age to go through, as loads of people changing course at the same time, so I'm playing safe and tacking before I actually want to.

I started late as well, so have made up a hell of a lot of ground on the main pack.

well unless something goes drastically wrong in last half mile, trev takes a podium place with bronze. Well done! you've been performing consistently well in these races.

Quite pleased that though I started late (again /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif ) I managed to get up with the leaders for once!

Trev did brilliantly!

pure luck for me really. I started late, and all the top guys were already well off SE

So I just stuck my boat heading south, with the intention of a least finishing, and would take a look later. Then they all headed SW, and I found I was just behind the leading pack!

A shame really, my cunning plan was that everyone else would be doing Xmas, and have no time to sail. If I'd started on time, it looks like I'd have had a chance, as I was only minutes behind the leaders. Ho hum! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Bejasus just on his way into the final mile or so.....I did wonder where you were off to last night George! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

We really should get more ybw people to sign up to these races.
