Its the Sydney Boat Show this week Sydney Boat Show – Sydney's premier boat shows. The show has a new format - later this week the show features a land based show, at the Olympic Park site, focussing on components, electronics, clothing, rigging, fishing, propellors etc etc and (( think) land display of small runabouts. There is another show scheduled where there will be a floating dock, in Darling Harbour, with yachts and big MoBos. I'm not sure of the motivation to split the show (it seems a way of getting two entry fees where historically one fee sufficed). But there may be a redeeming feature - the weather has been appalling. So far a week of above average rain and this week looks not much different (not good if you rely on solar to charge your batteries) and the show is all under cover
However this company and product caught my eye Active Anchor how to use guide - I do like imaginative individuals willing to invest and stick their neck out. I will be visiting their stand.
