SX 90 Micro Handheld VHF 240v Charger

I've been trying to get hold of a 240v charger for a SX 90 Micro Handheld VHF but with little luck.

I visited LYC (who use to import them from Pony Corp. in Japan) but were unable to help and don't import thme anymore.

Could anybody suggest how to get hold of one or know what alternative mobile phone / cordless drill etc charger would work in its place???

Hi, The charger for my SX Micro charges at 12 volts, 200 milliamp. Pin is negative. Surely any similar charger to this specification will work. If the charge rate is higher or lower then adjust the charge time accordingly.

You can buy multi volage, multi pin transformers. My guess is you may have more of a problem with getting a plug to fit rather than finding the correct voltage.

The charger is 12volt 200m.a.output.Argos sell a multi voltage adapter with lots of connectors for £4.50.pg756 of catalgue .
