SW\'s turn tonight?

My baro has dropped 22mb in the last 7 hours and it is beginning to blow a bit! Spectacular rainfall, too. The TV forecast has just shown a high risk of "disruption" for Cornwall and Devon. Batten down the hatches and have a look in the morning?

Please send some rain our way, our supposed summer wet season hasn't happened, the grass is brown and crackly again.

Yes Derwood. We have had your annual share of rain in Devon this month! Can't say the same about wind though ;-)

RPaint job

I've got a sanded down hull, ready to be painted, just standing there in the shed.

Two-pack paint, so I need three days +15°C, -75% humidity. By april.

Won't be in the near future, though.

Anybody know the chance of this happening in march ? Just three consequetive days.

Didn't turn out to be too bad in the end, here at Cargreen. A bit of a blow around midnight but calm, clear and sunny by morning - beefy showers by mid am, though.

Re: RPaint job

Having a look at the long range forecast and previous years, if the Azores high continues to build and shoves the lows north, the Scandanavian high has shown no signs of building yet! thank goodness, you may have a good march IMHO. If it doesnt build its going to piss down!

The chick in RogerRoger's enormous avatar, what Roger was maybe rogering - or hoping to roger - at the time, has to be thirteen years older now!

Nice boat!
