Swiftech M-198 battery pack

Hi guys
I have a SWIFTECH M-198 vhf radio which needs a new battery pack does anyone know where I could get one of these, many thanks

I cut the battery cover in half along the seams and bought some replacement batteries from Maplins soldered them together and stuck the cover back together, lasted 3 or 4 years since then

Thanks Malc, the problem is I dont have the old battery case anymore

I made the mistake of buying a new battery 3 years ago for about £35 but I'd recommend cutting your loss and just buying a new, decent radio. I ended up going for a Silva S12 for about £85...you can probably get them cheaper now.

You could try eBay or a boat jumble for a faulty used one and fit new batteries in that
