hi all ....i know that swanage does,nt have a harbour as such, or, pontoons to land BUT is there visitors moorings and a watertaxi or a similar "arangement" to get ashore for an afternoons RnR ?? thanks folks in advance....

There are a couple of places to land a tender, one on the beach which is OK when it is not packed with holiday makers and another one near where I think they hire out boats, it's over to the left as you look at Swanage.

There is a water taxi, I expect an almanac or google will list the number. There are also some privately owned bouys you can pick up, they tend to have telephone numbers on them, I used one once when the weather was bad and it only cost a donation of about £10 for the night.
