I've looked at the website and there seems to be no downloadable info. Also checked the excellent PDF Database that someone suggested in response to an earlier enquiry - no luck. So has anyone got the instructions and would be prepared to copy them to me, or just give me the gist? Looks straightforward enough from the pictures on the website - 3 crimps, starting, I imagine, furthest from the cut end, but there must be some non-intuitive wrinkles !
Thanks in anticipation,
Mike P

I looked at this thread to see if I had been doing it right for the last 30 years but since no one has answered, here is how I do it. It may be right it may be wrong. Not sure what the swage it tool is. I've always used the bolt cutters with holes in the teeth type.

I start in the middle of the swage, then the cut end and then the turn end. I leave a bit of wire showing at the end of the swage. I don't overlap the compressions. Overlapped ones look nicer but they seem to come apart more often. On larger swages you sometimes need to do the compressions in stages. You need to compress the swage all the way but you don't want to tear the metal of the swage.
