Came south through the SW Sunk today, and was at the new mid waypoint at 0830, keeping close to Roger's route, and saw no less than 5.8 depth of water. Can confirm there was quite a pebble with a 10kt westerly breeze. Left Mersea at 0540, had to motor-sail until we got through SW Sunk, then a very nice sail to Broadstairs, where the wind turned off.Arrived here at 1150... at 1230 the hounds of hell let loose with a squall of force 7 and massive rain and hail storm.
