I have asked Santa for a new portable radio and had my eye on the Grundig YB80, but it was out of stock. The Eton E5 was a step up in class but the internet price was between £80 and £90 plus p&p. I got one today at Trago Mills Liskeard for 54 quid. If you have a poke about on the net you will find some excellent reviews. At that price I might push my luck and ask for the Weatherfax software.

I bought a Grundig YB80 Yachtboy for £39.99 earlier this year from here, delivered within a few days. According to the website they have them in stock now.

Why not Google for JCComm32 Weatherfax software and download it for free? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Really excellent sw and easy to use once you've configured it which some people find a bit irksome. Or try the free 'MMTTY' sw which will give you excellent RTTY (Radioteletype) forecasts in English. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
