Hi,
The check engine light on my suzuki DF60 is flashing 3 followed by 2, which I believe is a bad MAP sensor. This came out of the blue about a week after a service and the engine runs as well as its ever done. If the MAP sensor is dodgy, what are the consequences of continuing to use it? Is a MAP sensor too difficult to replace?
Cheers

I suggest you ask whoever serviced it....or am I missing something here?

Got a DF90, get it serviced by a dealer (who I would strongly recommend to anyone in Southampton area) and if those lights were flashing on mine I would call him pronto... sorry.

firefly you're quick off the blocks! Yeah gonna stick my head round tomorrow to ask. I have never even heard of a MAP sensor, just read a bit about it, seems like it could well be pretty important, "Manifold absolute pressure sensor". Eeep - sounds expensive!

... yep, going a tad stir crazy at the mo as Mrs Firefly had 2 ops within 10 days so missed out on the last 2 best weekends weatherwise for quiet sometime... sh~t happens.

hence forum antidote....

... as for MAP sensor, well AFAIK it would control fueling supply throttle openings, so that's odd that you say its all running OK. might just be dodgy sensor, dodgy fault code...? Looked through owners manual, doesn't mention map sensor issues, certainly a dealers area IMHO.
