Does anyone know where I can find a manual on line for this little outboard. I got it recently as my little arms were getting tired rowing the inflatable out to the boat and it was going begging from another owner who has just upgraded. He got it from another owner in the boatyard
The only problem is he can't find the manual.
I would also like to know how old it is - the serial number shows 0201 then 116879 stamped onto the silver plate.
Any ideas guys.

I expect you had the same result searching net as i have - nothing except where to buy it in America.
It might be worth going to your next boat jumble. I've seen a guy selling photocopies of engine manuals. His stand was pretty big and he seemed to have the paperwork for more outboards than i thought had been created.

I'e just recently dumped my DT2 together with the owners handbook.
The book won't tell you much anyway, apart from where to put the petrol in.
Mine eventually died after 20 years of faultless service and neglect, including 4 swims. I started an overhaul but the cost of parts, especially gaskets was more than a new engine. My replacement Mariner 2.5 is not nearly as good.

Why not write to Suzuki at Crawley? Or a Google search will probably get you their e-mail address and they'll PDF it to you.

I have the 'important' pages scanned as jpg files.
PM me your e-dress and I will mail them to you.

Hi there, sorry can't assist with the manual, have been looking for one myself, but can offer the following information - Your Engine appears (from the serial No) to be a 1981 (J) model. You may find the following link handy if you require information - Nigel.

Boat jumble is the right place, bought siezed dt2 for £15 & manual off another stand for £5.

Unsiezed, bought new piston ring & gasket from fairweather marine & it has run faultless for the past 3 years!!!

Now that was a bargain :~)
