The seats on our Seaward 25 are original and are beginning to get a bit tired with wobbly arms and something of a lashed up height mechanism so I'm thinking of replacing them and wondered about suspension seats at the same time. Ours are conventional being on posts with a spring loaded catch to set the height. Obviously, being a small boat size will be an issue anyway.
Such seats, inevitably, seem to be very expensive based on a quick trawl online but I did find in interesting option in a sprung tractor seat base which is a simple lever action - has anyone any experience of these?
Thoughts/experiences welcomed.
