Surveyor required near Valencia

Currently in burriana about 20 miles north of Valencia.
We require a survey to renew our insurance.
I would like advice on surveyors in this area especially expats or recommended locals with good English.

I used Jason Sibley from Palma http://www.jaysonsibley.com/ when purchasing a boat in Denia a few years ago. Reasonable cost even including his air fare.

Try Martyn Jenkins of Marlin Yacht Surveys www.marlinyachtsurveys.com He is English and based in Palma but works all around the Med. He used to keep his boat near Valencia.

I don't know of a surveyor per se, but two weeks ago I was in Valencia (we are based in Marina Juan Carlos) and had the boat hauled out in Varadero Valencia (which is the other side of the harbour from MJC). I bumped a rock last year and had the keel expert from varadero valencia (VV) take a look. He was very knowledgeable and put in place a minor repair. OK, so he is not a formal surveyor which you will need for insurance purposes, but I am sure he will know a surveyor they can recommend. The tel number for VV is : 963 674 484. If you don't speak Spanish, there is a very nice woman there who speaks English well enough to make yourself understood, if not they speak castillian as well as catalan . Address is

There's an English surveyor in Torriveija that dis an insurance survey on a pals 30 ft sail boat recently. I can probably get his details if that helps.
BTW I tried the well recommended guy from Palma. Pricey and too busy when I needed him last year. Initially agreed to fly over but then let me down. Turned out my insurance company didn't require a survey.
