Surveyor Reccomendations IoW ?

Hi folks
Need a small yacht pre purchase surveyed in East Cowes, any Reccomendations on who to use or avoid in terms of price helpfulness and quality of survey? Thanks TL

I suggest you have a chat with Jonic of this forum and ask him for his opinions. He is a broker based over on the "north island", but he must have regular contact with surveyors on the other side of the Solent. (Failing that, it shouldn't add too much to the cost to ship someone over from the mainland if the boat you want looking at is in one of the main IoW harbours).

Thanks, may end up whipping over but there are at least 3 brokers on the island which will save me a load of travel costs- important for those of us at the bargain basement end of yachting!
