Current boat is having its pre sale survey next week. Apart from it being clean,presentable and all areas accessible is there anything else i should do?

Just make sure everything is where it should be. I.E, Nav gear in order, etc then he wont have to any extra digging to find stuff.

The cleaner the better, and if it has been laid up just go on and check all the systems work (nav, radio, lights etc..)

Find out where he lives and go through his bins. Find something embarrassing and let him know that you know. You should then find that any minor issues like blown engines, broken stringers or a delaminated hull should be classed as immaterial and excluded from his report.

Having just been on the other end -

Put all the paperwork together and available for the surveyor to look at.
Take everything off that isn't in the deal!
