My interior is teak- last year I revamped all the main saloon and replaced the catches on the cupboards. Chose chrome which doesn’t look as good as brass but less polishing! Got the off the internet fron an ironmongery supplier for seven or eight pounds each. Although they superficially look OK, the quality of the build is shocking; they jam easily requiring removal and resetting before screwing back on.
So I want to replace them but all the ones I see are relatively cheap whatever the finish so I suspect the quality will be no better. I’ve looked at classic marine but they don’t have that style. Any where else I should look? It’s a once in 40 year update so price isn’t really an issue!
