Supervalcano re-visited

I was listening to radio 4 at lunch time on Saturday. I cant remember the name of the programme but it is a pisstake on the news etc of the preceding week.
Somebody on the show says that we nead not worry about the supervalcano because the super asteroid will follow closley behind the erruption and plug the hole.
Wish I had thought of that.

Actually the super tsunami created when Gran Canaria falls into the sea will wash the US clean of all the volcanic ash .. so no worries?
