Superb Antifouling!!

yup - I thought so - recent reports on here indicate that its the most dangerous area in the south .... I trust your insurance premiums are bumped up accordingly ... ;)

Also Portsmouth harbour last year (2009) seemed to be the Theft capital of the UK as well! I know someone that had 2 chart plotters taken!

According to the local fuzz it was probably down to one individual - a vast quantity found at home - but not my outboard!

International Micron Extra 2 years after

This is with International Micron Extra, 2 years in the water with little use.
I am afraid I do not have a better picture at the moment, but the hull and keel look quite clean. Sussex.

I do hope that's not ANOTHER Bavaria?

Refueler will be along to complain soon:)

Is that really pre-scrub? How come the waterline is so clean?

Not a Bavaria, go on! Who is going to guess? :-)
BTW with this one? I smoked several bavaria, even longer ones.

The picture was taken after jet wash, but there was little to wash other than some superficial sludge. Very little algae growth, limited to places hard to anti-foul, like under the keel.

I have done Micron Extra again last year (November 2008), still in the water and this time I sailed 1,300 nm since. I haven't lifted her yet but the waterline is still totally clean, it is hard to see any further down. I can see the rudder very well however, and since due to bad weather I haven't sailed for the last six weeks I can see that some superficial sludge has developed, but I am sure that this will wash away next time I sail. No algae or other life forms are visible so far.

I sailed all the way to the Solent this summer and I was at Gosport Marina for a few days at the end of August. In that only occasion I saw that some tiny filament algae about one inch long had grown in a matter of three days on the side most exposed to the sun. But these later washed away soon after leaving Gosport.
