We're now considering going Liveaboard as it is obvious from this picture that we don't need a veggie patch to grow our own!

There is a Rudder here somewhere:

The bright blue patch is Blakes Cruiser Performer ...

In slight fairness to the Cruiser Uno antifoul - it was applied at least 2 months before launch...

Congratulations Andrew, you have the keel!

I notice on the last photo a small patch clear of seaweed. Was this where the props were? Was antifoul applied here? If not - it appears that nothing was better than UNO, or if it was, then it shows that putting on the antifoul 2 months before launch is not a good idea. I don't believe they specify a launch time window on the product.

Ah yes - the wobbly bit underneath - it's still there ... and the 'bodge' job we did before launch seems to have lasted well - still a heck of a lot to do to the hull/keel before launch in the spring though :(

The bright patch is where we applied some Blakes Performer whilst we were doing the keel ...

I think you should get rid of that white stripe just above the antifoul. I have the same. Looks great for about a week after launching before the weed takes hold.
I don't have a white stripe above the antifoul .... at the moment! ;)

Any excuse so you don't have to fix them heads then ;) anyway I do recall we both motorsailed pretty much all the way back.

I also recall I had an excellent dinner on the table ready for when we got back - hence the rush! Would've been quicker if I wasn't towing the veg patch though!

What? The thick white stripe above the antifoul? I think that might be failry essential :-)

Wasn't this the same Bavaria that you posted pre-launch looking rather immaculate? Or am I remembering incorrectly

you're remembering incorrectly .... we never got a chance to clean/polish the topsides as we wanted to get launched and use the boat before the season ended ....

A few years ago I did half of my customers boats in Uno.......on lift out the crane driver asked wether I had used red emulsion..................
Try Seajet Shogun or Emperor.

Thanks for the suggestion. In my defence we didn't do the antifouling on this one as we only bought her this year and it was already sone. However, I hindsight it would probably a good idea to have redone it ourselves
