Presumably that is a boat transporter carrying yachts back from the Caribbean to the Med for the summer? I can see our insurance premiums going up again

As far as I recall from the only occasion when I was involved in yacht shipping, that should be covered by the insurance of the shipping company.
Which is a somewhat different kettle of fish.

Depends on whether the shipping line only had basic insurance and owners were advised to arrange their own insurance to their boat's full value. It also depends where the underwriters were based. I see the ship was sailing under a Curacao flag. Best of luck making a claim against underwriters based there

Looks like nothing sank, although the polishers might have to work overtime. Potentially a lost summer of charters though.
